Lennox and Addington OPP have charged a Loyalist Township driver with impaired driving following multiple traffic complaints on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Officers responded shortly after 10:30 a.m. to reports on County Road 41 near Kaladar and County Road 4 in Loyalist Township.
Police later located the vehicle and arrested the driver at a Loyalist Township address. The driver, Joshua Howes, 43, faces charges of operation while impaired by alcohol and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 mg%.
Howes was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Court in Greater Napanee at a later date. The accused’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
Authorities remind residents to report unsafe driving and continue promoting road safety in the community.
