Laughter will prove to be the best medicine in early November for health clinics offered by the Peterborough Family Health Team.
A comedy night fundraiser hosted by the Greater Peterborough Health Services Foundation on November 2nd at Market Hall will feature Juno Award-nominated comedian D. J. Demers, joined by two-time Canadian Comedy Award nominee Casey Corbin and Eric Behm, who was named one of the 10 New Faces of Comedy by Just For Laughs.
Foundation executive director Vince Bierworth says Demers’ comedic resumé is as long as it is impressive.
Bierworth says the health clinics being supported are in place for those without a family doctor.
Bierworth adds money raised will prove vital to the clinics’ operation.
