Featuring everything from getaways to jewelry and tech, and all kinds of experiences, the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation’s “Gilligan’s Island gala” online auction is officially underway.
Part of the festivities for the upcoming in-person gala inspired by the popular TV show, all proceeds raised are going towards the foundation’s “Emerge Stronger” campaign, which will help with the emergency department expansion, rollout of a new patient record system and additional hospital upgrades.
Organizers note that the auction is also tax-free, ending on Oct. 20 at 9 p.m. The gala itself is set for Saturday, Oct. 18 at the Batawa Community Centre.
At press deadline, tickets were almost sold out. Ticket information is accessible online.
