Community Futures Peterborough (CFP) has unveiled its 2025–2028 strategic plan, aiming to help local businesses grow through advisory services, training, and flexible financing.
The plan focuses on expanding access to expert business advice, enhancing loan programs, developing new community-focused programs, and strengthening internal operations for long-term sustainability.
CFP was selected last year by the Province of Ontario to deliver the region’s Small Business Enterprise Centre program, creating a single access point for business support and funding.
Two new board directors were also announced: Sherry Hill, CFO of Peterboro Matboards, and Evan Lyons, Vice President of Digital, Strategy, and Planning & CIO at Peterborough Regional Health Centre.
Board Chair Wayne Harding says the plan ensures CFP is “not only meeting today’s needs but preparing for the future of business in Peterborough.”
