An 18-year-old driver is facing a stunt driving charge after being stopped for travelling more than twice the speed limit on Water Street last Thursday evening.
Around 6:30pm on September 18, an officer on general patrol near Water Street and Marina Boulevard clocked a vehicle at 113 km/h in a 50 km/h zone. The officer initiated a traffic stop and pulled the driver over.
The 18-year-old was ticketed for stunt driving, had their licence suspended for 30 days, and their vehicle impounded for 14 days.
