An investigation into an alleged theft of photography equipment in Cramahe over the weekend has led to an arrest.
According to Northumberland OPP, on Sept. 13, 2025, police received a report about the theft of photography equipment from a Rutherford Road residence, and that the items were believed to have been stolen by a family member.
The investigation led officers to arrest one individual the next day, reported police.
The accused is a 34-year-old man with no fixed address, who was charged with theft over $5,000.
Police said the accused won’t be named to protect the identity of the victim.
The accused will appear in Cobourg court in October.
