Officers with the Peterborough Police Service are investigating after a stabbing in the city Saturday night.
At approximately 11:20 p.m. on September 13, 2025, police responded to a residence near Park Street South and Romaine Street. They learned that a male victim had been stabbed in the abdomen during an altercation with a man known to him. The victim was transported to Peterborough Regional Health Centre and then transferred to a Toronto-area hospital for further treatment.
Officers, assisted by a K9 Unit, searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. At this time, the victim is not cooperating with investigators.
