Construction work on a new walking path will mean Peace Park in Brighton will be temporarily closed for about two weeks.
The Municipality of Brighton said the Peace Park closure (between Huron Drive and Oneida Street) will be in effect as of Thursday, Sept. 11 so crews can tackle construction work on a new asphalt walking path.
“The work is expected to take approximately two weeks – weather permitting – after which, the park will reopen,” said municipal staff, while thanking residents for their patience co-operation as work continues to improve community spaces.
The walking path site plan is accessible online.
