The Municipality of Brighton says motorists should take note of an upcoming lane reduction on Ontario Street scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025.
The work will affect the stretch between Raglan Street and Butler Street at Civic Number 175A, where traffic will be reduced to a single lane.
The lane reduction is necessary to facilitate a water service connection at the property. Traffic control personnel will be onsite to ensure the safety of both workers and drivers while maintaining the flow of vehicles through the area, says the municipality.
Drivers are advised to plan ahead, anticipate minor delays and consider alternate routes if possible. The restriction will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
