Quinte West residents have one week left to sign up for the City’s e-billing service and be entered into the “Switch to Win” contest.
The program closes on September 15, 2025, and offers prizes of up to $4,000 toward a property tax bill or up to $1,500 toward a water or sewer bill.
All residents who register for e-billing before the deadline will be automatically entered into the draw. Those who have already enrolled are also included. Winners will be contacted by the City by phone after the contest closes.
E-billing allows residents to receive their property tax and water/sewer bills directly by email. City officials say the service is fast, convenient, and environmentally friendly. By reducing printing and postage costs, e-billing also contributes to long-term savings for taxpayers.
“This contest is an excellent opportunity for residents to make the switch to e-billing while also being entered for a chance to win a significant prize,” said Caleb DenOuden, Quinte West’s Director of Finance. “Over 50 per cent of residents have already made the switch. We encourage those still receiving paper bills to complete their registration before September 15.”
Residents can sign up for e-billing and review contest terms and conditions at quintewest.ca/ebilling.
