The Community Foundation of Kawartha Lakes has rebranded as the Kawartha Community Foundation (KCF), unveiling a new name, visual identity, and website to reflect its growth and continued focus on connecting local generosity with purpose.
“Our foundation has grown in both scale and visibility in recent years,” said Board Chair Mark Knoester. “With that growth came the opportunity to ensure our brand fully reflects who we are today and where we’re headed. Kawartha Community Foundation is about legacy, local impact, and trust.”
The refreshed brand features a pinecone logo symbolizing regeneration and growth, along with a warm, nature-inspired colour palette and the tagline Rooted. Relevant. Responsible.
Executive Director Laurie Dillon-Schalk emphasized that the mission remains unchanged, noting the rebrand allows KCF to “tell our story more clearly while staying true to our roots.”
