A 38-year-old Douro-Dummer Township man has died following a motorcycle crash on County Road 6.
Emergency crews were called just after 6 a.m. this morning after a passerby spotted a motorcycle in the ditch and an individual lying nearby. Police say the crash likely happened between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Thursday night.
As of 9:30 a.m. Friday, County Road 6 between Douro 4th Line and Douro 5th Line remained closed while officers trained in collision reconstruction measure and document the scene.
The OPP is asking anyone with dashcam footage or who witnessed the crash and has not yet spoken with police to contact the Peterborough County detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
