The Trenton Seniors Club 105 is stepping up to support patient care close to home later this month.
The club is gearing up to host a fundraising community yard sale in Frankford from Sept. 19 to 21 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 2512 Frankford Rd. (the corner of Flyboy Road.)
“All proceeds will benefit the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation, supporting essential hospital equipment and patient care close to home,” reads a recent release from the hospital foundation.
There will also be a barbecue on site with food and drinks available for purchase – “a great way to refuel while you shop and further support the cause.”
Meanwhile, if you’re looking to tackle some decluttering beforehand and interested in giving back, donations of gently-used items are being accepted at the same location on Sept. 6, 10, 13 and 17 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Organizers have noted that no clothes or mattresses will be accepted.
