The Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation has launched the second cycle of its popular Catch the Ace lottery, and the first draw took place this week. The ace of spades remains unclaimed, allowing the progressive jackpot, which begins at a $10,000 minimum, to grow even larger week by week.
NHH Foundation’s Courtney Ker tells us this week’s winner was at the hospital.
The event supports vital programs and services at Northumberland Hills Hospital, offering a meaningful way for the community to contribute. Tickets are available both online and at various locations, making it easy for participants to join the hunt while backing healthcare in the region.
Ker tells us everyone has been excited for the return of this popular fundraising raffle.
Each week, if the ace remains hidden, the jackpot escalates, gathering excitement and attention with every new ticket sold. Ker tells us how it works.
The format guarantees that even the smallest purchases play a part in benefitting local health services, while also feeding the dream of that ultimate card reveal.
You can get your tickets online at the NHH Foundation website at https://nhhfoundation.ca/events/catch-the-ace-in-support-of-nhh or at the Foundation office at the hospital and the Foundation team will be at the Cobourg Farmer’s Market on September 27th where you can also get tickets which are available at: 1 ticket for $10, 3 tickets for $20 or 10 tickets for $50.
As the stakes climb and the card remains hidden, enthusiasm is spreading beyond hospital staff into the wider community. Keep your ticket close; you could be the one to catch that ace and deliver a big win for the Foundation.
