Peterborough police have charged a 36-year-old Whitby woman after a traffic stop Wednesday morning.
At around 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, an officer from the Traffic Unit observed a vehicle travelling 99 km/h in a 50 km/h zone near Lily Lake Road.
The officer stopped the vehicle and laid multiple charges, including stunt driving, speeding, and failure to surrender a driver’s licence.
The driver received a 30-day licence suspension, and the rental vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
