An attempted murder charge and multiple firearms-related charges have been laid following a shooting incident on High Shore Road near Highway 7 yesterday.
Police say the incident occurred just after 1:00 p.m. when shots were fired at a residence. No one suffered serious injuries. Officers from the Central Hastings Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, along with the Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit, responded to the scene.
An individual was arrested less than an hour later without further incident. The investigation, which included the Central Hastings OPP Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Services, resulted in the following charges being laid against 46-year-old Jason Fluke of Marmora and Lake:

The accused remains in custody, with a bail hearing scheduled for today at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
