Napanee Mayor Terry Richardson made some opening remarks highlighting the significant loss the town is feeling following the passing of Councillor Dave Pinnell Jr.
In them, he reflected one of Pinnell Jr’s largest community contributions in the annual parade.
Richardson also reflected on his colleague’s life both in public and private, both of which he dedicated his life to.
Richardson said his passing should be a reminder for the rest of us to not sweat the small stuff in life and to enjoy every moment.
Council declared his seat vacant and next steps will be discussed at the September 9th meeting.
