Peterborough’s Pathway of Fame will soon welcome eight more inductees.
On September 9th at Showplace, Jerry Allen, Roy Craft, Ted Dawes, Susan Dunkley, Julie Fallis, Peggy Shaughnessy, Bob Trennum and the late Dr. Garry Humphreys will be formally inducted. Each will have a marker bearing their name placed alongside those of many previous inductees at Del Crary Park.
Pathway of Fame director Gord Gibb says induction remains an honour for not only inductees, but also their families and friends.
Gibb notes the Pathway of Fame has stayed true to its day one aim and format, which in itself has played a role in its enduring success.
Gibb says Pathway of Fame induction serves to remind us that Peterborough has a big heart.
Admission to the 7 p.m. induction ceremony, which is preceded by entertainment, is free.
