Greater Napanee residents are invited to join the annual Terry Fox Run on Sunday, Sept. 14, supporting cancer research. The 2025 event marks the 45th anniversary of the Marathon of Hope and the 43rd local run in Greater Napanee.
Last year, the community raised just over $21,000, with school donations bringing the total to $28,293.90. Organizers hope to surpass that in 2025.
Participants of all ages and abilities can walk, run, or wheel a 5 km or 10 km route, both starting and ending at Napaneeās Conservation Park. Businesses, organizations, sports teams, friends, and families are encouraged to form teams, helping build traditions, have fun, and raise funds for cancer research.
Check-in begins at 9 a.m., and the run starts at 9:30 a.m. Registration is available online at run.terryfox.ca. For more information, contact Rebecca Wilkinson at TerryFoxRunNapanee@outlook.com or 613-530-7104.
