A Peterborough man is facing stunt driving and multiple traffic-related charges after being pulled over for excessive speed on Saturday morning.
Police say a 24-year-old was spotted around 7:30 a.m. in the Clonsilla Avenue and Spillsbury Drive area travelling at 101 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone.
In addition to stunt driving, the driver has been charged with speeding, failing to wear a seatbelt, obstructing the licence plate, and having a windshield obstruction.
The driver’s licence has been suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle has been impounded for two weeks.
