Two additional people have been arrested in connection with a year-long online fraud investigation led by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
Diana Addae, 27, of Mississauga, and Kenneth Danumon, 23, of Guelph, turned themselves in to police in Toronto on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Both face multiple charges, including fraud over $5,000, theft over $5,000, laundering proceeds of crime, participation in a criminal organization, and possession of property obtained by crime.
The investigation began in October 2024 after a resident of Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory was defrauded of more than $100,000. The case is being handled by the Prince Edward County OPP Crime Unit with support from the Regional Support Team, Risk Offender Enforcement Unit, Aviation Services, and Winnipeg Police.
Addae and Danumon are in custody and were scheduled to appear by video in Belleville court on August 22, 2025. Three other suspects were charged earlier and will appear in court at a later date.
