The Port Hope and District Chamber of Commerce is beginning a new chapter with Andrew Hall officially stepping in as Chief Executive Officer, August 25.
Hall, a local resident with an entrepreneurial spirit, brings strong leadership experience and a passion for fostering collaboration to the role. He says he is honoured to take on the position and is eager to build on the Chamber’s already strong foundation.
“I am incredibly honoured to step into this role,” said Hall. “The Chamber plays such an important part in strengthening our community and I look forward to listening, learning and working together with our members, staff and partners to build on a notably strong foundation.”
The Chamber’s Board of Directors expressed confidence in Hall’s leadership. Kendra Simmons, president of the board and owner of Antiques on Queen, said his vision, energy, and dedication to community development align with the Chamber’s mission.
“We are excited to welcome him and are certain that growth and prosperity of the business sector will continue to evolve under his guidance,” Simmons said.
As CEO, Hall will oversee Chamber operations, advocacy, and initiatives aimed at promoting business excellence and strengthening the local network, all while supporting the economic advancement of the community.
