Belleville Police say a woman has been charged following a domestic dispute in the city’s west end.
Police were called to a residence around 9:36 p.m. on August 20 after receiving a report of an altercation. When officers arrived, they spoke with both parties involved. Investigators allege that a female was assaulted after a verbal argument.
As a result, a 24-year-old Belleville woman was arrested and charged with two counts of assault. Police say she was later released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in October.
