The Peterborough Lakers are down 2-0 in the best-of-seven MSL final after an 11-7 loss to the Six Nations Chiefs last night. The Lakers trailed on the scoreboard for the entire game, despite outshooting the Chiefs.
Peterborough started Drew Hutchison in net, who made 40 saves, including several highlight stops, keeping the game closer than it should have been.
The series will shift back to Six Nations for Game 3 tomorrow, with Game 4 scheduled for 7 pm on Saturday at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.
Tickets are now on sale for all three of the Peterborough Petes preseason games. Two of those games will take place against Erie next weekend at the PMC, with the third game set for September 7 in Norwood.
