Construction work is set to begin on County Road 41 today, Monday, August 18, 2025, affecting the section between the Lennox and Addington Dark Sky Preserve and the Stone Mills/Addington Highlands boundary.
The project involves removing and replacing five culverts. Additional work includes asphalt reinstatement, guide rail repairs, line painting, and earth excavation. The project is expected to last about two weeks, weather permitting.
During construction, single lane closures will be in effect, and minor traffic delays are expected. Traffic control personnel will be on site to manage vehicle flow and ensure safety.
Officials are asking drivers to plan ahead, follow posted signs, and be patient as crews complete these necessary infrastructure improvements to maintain safe and reliable road conditions.
