The Lennox and Addington Chamber of Commerce’s Market has reached the halfway point of its season, and organizers say things are off to a strong start.
myFM spoke with Karen Smith, who said 22 vendors are registered, with a rotating lineup each Saturday. She told us more about their vendors,
A highlight of the second half of the season will be September 6, when the market teams up with the heritage committee for the unveiling of a plaque at the old fire station in Market Square.
Smith encouraged the community to keep supporting local farmers and small businesses, especially during a difficult growing season.
The market runs every Saturday until October 25, with ongoing draws for $25 in market bucks. Every week you get a chance to fill out a ballot, for a draw for $25 in market bucks to spend at the market!
