A 14-year-old Peterborough boy is facing a charge of criminal harassment following a neighbour dispute.
Police were called on Wednesday, after reports that the youth had been yelling racial slurs at neighbours over several days. Officers noted this was not the first time the youth had come to police attention for similar behaviour.
Following an investigation, the 14-year-old was arrested and charged with criminal harassment. He was released on a youth undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on September 22.
The case involves a hate crime element, which will be addressed as it moves through the court process.
