Fleming College is introducing a new tuition-free pathway program aimed at Indigenous learners pursuing careers in environmental and natural resource sciences.
Launching September 15th, the Indigenous Environmental Sciences Pathway offers admission without a high school diploma and combines online and in-person classes at the college’s Sutherland campus in Peterborough. The small-class format is designed to provide an accessible, supportive environment for students.
Graduates can enter diploma and certificate programs in fields such as conservation biology, forestry and fish and wildlife technology. The program includes up to five transfer credits and support from Indigenous Student Services.
