An investigation into a fatal motorcycle collision over the weekend is continuing, says Central Hastings OPP.
According to OPP, on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2025, shortly after 4 p.m., a member of the public contacted police after a man was found dead with his motorcycle located in a ditch along Flinton Road, northeast of Tweed.
Police have described the incident as a fatal, single-vehicle collision at this time; however, have also noted the investigation remains in its early stages. A collision reconstructionist with OPP, as well as forensic identification services, were also called in to help with the investigation.
In the latest from OPP, police said the identity of the deceased isn’t being confirmed at this time.
The incident had Flinton Road between Robinson Road North and Elzevir Road shut down for the on-site investigation.
