The Jr C Lakers are back-to-back Meredith Cup champions after beating Burlington yesterday 10-7. This marks the team’s fourth title victory, all coming within the last 10 years.
Head Coach Ryley Martinell said his entire roster battled hard all season, highlighting the standout performances of rookie sensation Hayden Addison and his brother Geordie, the team’s star goaltender.
This is the first time a team has repeated as champs since Clarington won three titles in a row from 2010 to 2012.
The Three Days Grace U18 AAA Jr Petes are looking for participants and sponsors for their charity golf tournament on October 2nd at Wildfire. The day will begin with lunch and registration at 11am, followed by a shotgun start at 12:30pm, and hor d’oeuvres and prizes from 5:30 to 7pm. The cost for a foursome is $1,200.
