Peterborough drivers should prepare for a temporary lane closure on Maria Street starting today.
The City of Peterborough announced the westbound lane of Maria Street between Rogers Street and Ashburnham Drive will be closed to through traffic to allow for underground service maintenance. The work is expected to last until Friday.
While the westbound lane is closed, the eastbound lane will remain open to traffic throughout the construction period. Detour routes will be clearly posted for westbound drivers to follow.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead and expect possible delays in the area during the work.
