Peterborough police continue to investigate a serious crash between a motorcycle and an SUV that sent one person to a Toronto hospital.
The collision happened around 5 pm Wednesday at Lansdowne Street West and Webber Avenue. The motorcyclist was airlifted for treatment of their injuries.
The area was closed for about three and a half hours as the Traffic Management Unit conducted a reconstruction. Four drivers were ticketed during that time for ignoring a police barrier that was in place for the investigation.
