After a three-week break, the Jr C Lakers return to action tonight when they host Burlington in Game 1 of the best-of-five Meredith Cup final.
Game time is 8 pm at the Healthy Planet Arena.
The Senior Lakers are in Whitby tonight for Game 4 of their semifinal series with the Brooklin Lacrosse Club. Peterborough leads the best-of-seven 2-1. The series will shift back to the PMC tomorrow.
And the Petes made a big trade yesterday, sending goaltender Zach Bowen, along with three draft picks, to the Brampton Steelheads in exchange for forward Lucas Kamiris. The Petes will host the Steelheads in their season opener on September 18.
