After the sudden death of 32-year-old Jordan Gill-Bevan about one year ago, Northumberland OPP is continuing to call on the public for help.
In a recent release, noting the first anniversary of the incident, OPP said investigators are continuing to call on the public for help with their ongoing sudden death investigation in Roseneath dating back to last August.
According to OPP, on Sunday, Aug 4, 2024, shortly after 9 p.m., police responded to a call from emergency medical services (EMS) about an unresponsive individual found at a commercial property in the County Road 45 area.
The individual, now identified by police as 32-year-old Gill-Bevan, of Roseneath, was pronounced deceased at the scene, reported OPP.
Northumberland OPP’s crime unit, under the direction of the OPP’s criminal investigation branch, is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.
“Investigators believe that someone knows important information surrounding the circumstances of this death and are urging anyone who may know something to come forward,” said police, in their latest appeal for the public’s help. “Even the smallest detail could be crucial in helping to solve this case.”
Police are asking anyone with new information to reach out to OPP at 1-705-742-0401. Alternatively, Crime Stoppers is an anonymous option by calling 1-800-222-8477 or visiting Crime Stoppers online, where tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
No other details were released by police.
