A Peterborough man is facing several charges after a drug investigation led to the seizure of cocaine, fentanyl, hydromorphone, and cash valued at over $220,000.
Officers with the Peterborough Police Service Drug Unit arrested a 48-year-old man around 2:15 p.m. on July 31st, and later searched a home near Water Street and Marina Boulevard.
Police seized approximately 1.2 kilograms of cocaine, 1 kilogram of fentanyl, 380 hydromorphone pills, drug paraphernalia, cell phones, and roughly $21,000 in Canadian cash.
David Soady, 48, of Peterborough, is charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on August 1st.
