All bus stops at the downtown Peterborough Transit Terminal will be temporarily relocated from August 5th to September 5th due to construction work at 190 Simcoe Street.
Transit routes will continue on regular schedules, though some may make minor detours to reach the temporary stops. New boarding locations include various points along Simcoe and Aylmer streets, with signage posted for passenger guidance.
The terminal upgrades aim to eliminate the need for buses to reverse out of bays, as recommended in the city’s Transportation Master Plan and Transit Route Review.
Construction is expected to take four weeks.
