The very popular BigLake Festival is making its fifth return to Prince Edward County from Aug. 15 to 23 with great performances from a wide variety of top entertainers.
Co-founder and internationally-renowned violinist Elissa Lee tells us what it’s all about and why her group loves the county as a venue.
Lee says it’s all about curating our curiosity and exposing audiences to music they may not have heard before in a very special way.
The venues range from music halls and theatres to parks and historic buildings; all chosen to provide the perfect backdrop of beauty and charm to enhance the experience.
Audiences will be treated to a performance by Lee herself and she notes being both on stage and behind the scenes gives her a perspective to help elevate the artists’ offerings.
Tickets are on sale now at biglakearts.com. They’re offering a unique preview and fundraiser, Silent Film in the Barn on July 26th.
