Hey KFL&A, let’s get active!
The non-profit Kingston Gets Active, established 20 years ago, is as active as ever thanks to partnerships that provide access to opportunities for all of us to be physically active.
Board member Lara Paterson tells us their partners all have the same goal as them.
A popular program from KGA is the student ActivPass. Lara explains the great opportunities it offers.
The ActivPass provides access to swimming, gym, skating, curling, and so much more. Lara notes reports reveal physical activity for students drop off at Grade 5. She adds that all sectors of a community improve with active residents of all ages.
