The very popular Big Lake Festival is making its fifth return to Prince Edward County from August 15th to the 23rd with great performances from a wide variety of top entertainers.
Co-founder and internationally renown violinist Elissa Lee tells us what it’s all about and why her group loves the County as a venue.
Elissa says it’s all about curating our curiosity and exposing audiences to music they may not have heard before in a very special way.
The venues range from music halls and theatres to parks to historic buildings; all chosen to provide the perfect backdrop of beauty and charm to enhance the experience. Audiences will be treated to a performance by Elissa herself and she notes being both on stage and behind the scenes gives her a perspective to help elevate the artists’ offerings.
Tickets are on sale now at biglakearts.com. They’re offering a unique preview and fundraiser, Silent Film in the Barn on July 26th.
