The Jr C Lakers are on the road tonight for game two of their second-round playoff series with the Whitby Warriors. Peterborough leads the best-of-five 1-0 after a 6-2 win on Wednesday night. Game three is set for Sunday night at 7pm from the Healthy Planet Arena.
On the rugby pitch tomorrow, the Peterborough Pagans U16 Girls will host the Barrhaven Scottish Blue. Kickoff is set for 12 noon at Nicholls Oval.
The Kawartha Lacrosse JEWL Elite team is hosting the Ontario Women’s Field Lacrosse Provincials this weekend. They’ll face the Oshawa Lady Blue Knights tonight at 8pm from Justin Chiu Stadium at Trent University. Championship day will take place tomorrow, with the bronze medal game at 2pm, followed by the gold at 4pm.
And on Sunday, Kawartha Lacrosse will host a full slate of games at Beavermead Park. The U9s get things started at 8:30 in the morning against the Orillia Lady Kings, with the U11s wrapping things up at 2:45 against the Mimico Mountaineers.
