A 36-year-old Frankford man is facing charges in connection with an alleged break-and-enter probe and mischief investigation earlier this year.
According to the Belleville Police Service, on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at about 12:15 a.m., police responded to call involving CCTV footage of a man breaking into a building under construction in the city’s north end.
After arriving on scene, police said they were able to identify the man in the footage, who was allegedly linked to a mischief investigation dating back to May of this year.
As a result of the July and May investigations, police said the accused was charged with break and enter, possession of break-in instruments, mischief, and two counts of failure to comply with a probation order.
None of these charges have been proven in court.
The accused was released on an undertaking with an August court date, reported police.
