Greater Napanee wants residents to help shape the future of Town Hall.
At a recent meeting, council approved a recommendation from the Market Square Advisory Committee to host a predesign open house later this month.
The goal is to gather community feedback before renovations begin on the Town Hall’s main floor. They want to know what residents envision for the space. Ideas, layout suggestions, even fee structures.
The committee says public input is part of their official mandate. A simple paper survey will be handed out at the open house, and council is also looking into an online version.
Councillor Dave Pinnell said it’s time to invite the public in.
With downtown redevelopment underway, council says this is an exciting opportunity for the community to have their say on a much-talked-about space.
