A Roseneath resident is facing charges after Northumberland OPP say they clocked a vehicle at 124 km/h in an 80 zone.
Just before 11 a.m. on July 8, 2025, police said they were conducting speed enforcement efforts in the County Road 45 area in the Municipality of Trent Hills when they allegedly clocked a passenger vehicle at 124 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.
Following a traffic stop, police said the accused was also found to be suspended from driving.
As a result of the investigation, police said a 59-year-old Roseneath resident was charged with operation while prohibited, driving while under suspension, driving a motor vehicle with no licence, speeding, and failure to have an insurance card.
None of these charges have been proven in court.
The vehicle was also impounded for 45 days, reported OPP.
