The Peterborough Lakers are in Whitby tonight to take on the Brooklin Lacrosse Club in a battle for second place in the MSL standings. The season series is tied at one game each, with the road team winning each time. The Lakers return home tomorrow night to host the first-place Six Nations Chiefs.
The Jr C Lakers are also in action tonight, hosting the Whitby Warriors for game one of their best-of-five second-round playoff series. The winner of the series will advance to the Meredith Cup final. Game time is 8 p.m. at Healthy Planet Arena.
On the rugby pitch, the Peterborough Pagans U18 girls will host the Belleville Bulldogs tonight in Junior Provincial Cup play. The action will get underway at 7 p.m. from Nicholls Oval.
