Northumberland OPP say an investigation is continuing after a serious head-on crash on County Road 28 near Bewdley.
On Monday, July 7, 2025, at about 5:30 a.m., emergency crews responded to the collision involving two passenger sedans.
Both drivers and four passengers who were in one of the vehicles sustained serious to life-threatening injuries and were sent to trauma centres with help from Ornge Air Ambulance, reported OPP.
County Road 28 between Rice Lake Drive and Hannah Road will remain closed for several hours as members trained in collision reconstruction measure and document the scene, said OPP, in an update, just after noon on Monday.
Police said the cause of the crash remains under investigation, and that updates will be provided when more information is available.
No other details were released by police.
