The Senior Lakers snapped their three-game losing skid with a 9–7 win over Owen Sound. Holden Cattoni had two goals and three assists, while Joe Resetarits and Braedon Saris each had two goals and two assists. The Lakers are off until Wednesday when they travel to Whitby to face the Brooklin Lacrosse Club, before returning to the PMC on Thursday to take on Six Nations.
The Jr A Lakers will look to extend their win streak to five games when they travel to Brampton to take on the Excelsiors. The team will return to the PMC on Monday to play their final home game of the regular season at 8pm against the Whitby Warriors.
Meanwhile, the Jr C Lakers will look for the first-round sweep tonight when they host Huntsville at 8 pm at the Healthy Planet. A win tonight would advance them to the second round, where the Whitby Warriors are waiting.
Beavermead Park will play host to a full weekend of games for Kawartha Lacrosse. The action gets underway tomorrow, with four games on tap beginning with the U19s at 8:30 am and wrapping up at 7 pm with the U15s. Sunday will feature a doubleheader for the U13 team, with games at 8:30 and 11 am.
And on the ball diamond, the U8 Tier 2 Tigers will host Oshawa tomorrow at 2:30 pm at Kinsmen Field.
