Young minds in Cobourg will have more opportunities to explore science and technology thanks to a $5,000 donation from the Rotary Club of Cobourg.
The funds will support Venture13 Innovation & Entrepreneurship Centre’s popular STEM programming for youth aged 11 to 14. Traditionally offered during the summer, the camps will now expand into PA Days and March Break starting in 2026, with the goal of year-round programming to meet growing demand.
Venture13 has become a hub for innovation in Northumberland, offering hands-on education, mentorship, and access to tech-based tools for aspiring young learners. Mayor Lucas Cleveland says the Rotary Club’s donation will go toward vital technology upgrades that are key to delivering high-quality STEM programming.
The Rotary Club of Cobourg’s support reflects its long-standing commitment to education and youth development. It also closely aligns with Venture13’s mission to build a thriving, innovation-based community through entrepreneurship, partnerships, and youth empowerment.
