Anchored by the view that wellness looks different for everyone, the Kawartha Wellness Summit is inviting people to explore, connect and redefine what self-care and wellness can look like.
Set for this Sunday (July 6), 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Kawartha Downs in Fraserville, the inaugural event is organized and hosted by Kat McCartie of Kat McCartie Coaching and Devon Doney of Number 9 North Float and Wellness Spa. Local vendors, workshops and speakers will be featured.
Doney says the summit fills a void identified by both her and McCartie.
McCartie says self-care and wellness means different things to different people, and the summit will showcase that reality.
Looking ahead, Doney says plans are well underway to bring the summit back bigger and better.
Tickets, at $10 for general admission, and $25 for all-access that includes workshops and speakers, can be purchased online at https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/kawartha-wellness-summit-tickets-1367597975359.
