Ontario Provincial Police have confirmed that a missing 26-year-old woman from the Bayside area in Quinte West has been located deceased.
Officers with the Quinte OPP detachment issued a public advisory earlier today (July 2, 2025), notifying residents of an increased police presence in the area as they conducted their search. Members of the public were asked to contact the OPP with any information that could help.
The woman’s body was discovered later in the morning. Police have not released her name and say no further details will be provided.
The OPP thanked local residents for their cooperation and support during the investigation.
