Planning to enjoy the Cobourg Waterfront Festival this weekend?
Save yourself the parking stress and take advantage of the town’s free shuttle service.
Running on a 30-minute loop from Saturday, June 28 through Tuesday, July 1, the shuttles will operate from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., with extended hours on Canada Day until 11 p.m. Riders can park for free at Northumberland Mall or the Cobourg Community Centre and hop on the shuttle to get dropped off close to the action.
Shuttle stops include:
Northumberland Mall Bus Shelter
Cobourg Community Centre Bus Stop
Downtown Terminal (east of Church Street)
Cobourg Marina
The free service helps visitors navigate around several road closures in place for the festival. Closures begin Thursday, June 26 and continue through Wednesday, July 2, impacting Division, Queen, Church, and McGill Streets. Key parking lots, including Albert Street and the marina lot, will also be closed for the duration of the event.
With a packed schedule of entertainment, vendors and Canada Day fireworks, taking the shuttle is a smart way to spend more time enjoying the festival and less time stuck in traffic.
